Anthony Michael Salerno

      Anthony is a photographer and medieval fantasy author with a background in screenwriting for film and filmmaking production and post-production.

      Anthony is a skilled landscape, architectural, experimental, and fine art photographer/ videographer. His landscape and architectural work has been published by various magazines in the NJ/NYC area. He particularly enjoys traveling to beach towns in the US and medieval ruins in Europe for his photography.

Literary:

​

      His passion is world-building and creating new realms filled with magic and adventure, romance and betrayal, sorcerers and knights. It’s a talent his two daughters relish when it’s time for bed and they want to be woven into a story of two brave princesses fighting through a haunted castle to rescue their beloved knight. 

 

      As a student of the past and someone who has worn many hats in his life, he pulls inspiration from both history and experience. Anthony is also a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism where he competes in 16TH century fencing in an immersive setting, which lends to a “soft” realism in his novels. His commitment to entrancing his readers and welcoming them into his fictional worlds can be seen in each paragraph, as if one can smell the sweet spring breeze through a forest on horseback while turning to the next page.
